With the holidays right around the corner, it's time to put on your shopping shoes. One Paseo is the perfect place! Although at first this place was very controversial, it’s finally here and I sure am thankful! With its primary opening in 2019, it has been a big hit with the Carmel Valley area and I think that will only increase with their final buildout expected in fall of 2020.
This shopping spot is unique because not only will it contain shops and restaurants, but office space and residential living as well!
This massive development encompasses 23.6 acres of land which will host 96,000 square feet of shops and restaurants, 280,000 square feet of office space, and 600 luxury apartments and townhomes. The apartments will range from 590 square feet to around 1,483 which will give you a two bedroom two bath. If you are in the market for more, these luxury two level townhomes, coming in the Spring of 2020, will range from two to three bedrooms. If you’re still looking for more, you can check out the big penthouse on top!
For you shoppers, you will find mostly high end retail boutique here at One Paseo. You will also notice that there are almost no chains located here, which I think really adds to the luxury vibe and atmosphere. It also is what sets One Paseo apart from many other places like it. There are places to get your hair and nails done, stores for the kids, staples like Sephora, other stores like Pigment, and my personal favorite Lululemon which will be opening soon. I can’t wait to grab the perfect tennis outfit there!
It’s only a matter of time after all this shopping until you get hungry, which isn’t a problem at One Paseo, with their wide variety of restaurants, they’ve got you covered. Here you will find Tendergreens, Shake Shack, Sweet Fin, Blue Bottle Coffee, Urbn if you are in the pizza mood, and my husband of 26 years personal favorite, the Butchery! With their 20 food spots there is certainly something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for mexican, american, or italian.
So San Diego, what do you all think of One Paseo? This project has been very controversial mainly due to traffic and public transportation access, building height and whether the project will fit in with the neighborhood around it. Whether you guys like it or not, I want to know in the comments below!
